In her welcome address, the head of English department, Amongla Imsong, informed the objective of the programme which was aimed at igniting and fueling creativity, to showcase the talents and skills, and to break the monotony of regular classroom learning.
An update from the college stated that a variety of competitions including public speaking, Spin-a-tale, Declamation, and Poetry recitation were conducted. It stated that Hoboli Jakha from History department won the first prize in public speaking, while Likuvu Jimo from English department won the first prize in poetry recitation and Thelemcha from Education department won the first prize in declamation and Gaurab Das from English department won the first position in spin-a-tale.
