Wokha, Sep. 19 (EMN): Wokha District Chamber of Commerce and Industries (WDCCI) organised a programme to welcome the newly elected office bearers for the tenure 2020-23 and bid farewell to the outgoing office bearers at WDVCC and VDBs Association hall on September 19.
The newly elected WDCCI president, Renpithung Kikon, in his presidential address, stated that the new team is a collection of people from all walks of life, who are young, dynamic and energetic. He stated that the new team would work for the uplift of business community and support them for the general well-being.
Kikon also called upon the businesses community of Wokha town to come forward and extend support towards the association to help them serve better.
Renponthung Ezung, WDCCI outgoing president, congratulated the new office bearers and advised them to work collectively for the betterment of the business community in the district. He also advised the new members to be humble and work in unity for the uplift of the business community in the district.
Rev. Abemo L Jungio, pastor of Wokha Town Baptist Church, pronounced the prayer of blessings for the newly elected office bearers and the outgoing members, while S Abenthung Ngullie, WDCCI general secretary, delivered the vote of thanks.
