TSEMINYU — A send-off ceremony for the Tseminyu district contingents competing in the Nagaland Olympics and Paralympic Games 2024, comprising 12 players, one manager, and one official, was held on Tuesday.

Speaking at the event held at his office, Rohit Singh, deputy commissioner of Tseminyu district, lauded the athletes' dedication and perseverance and thanked the coaches and team managers for their unwavering support.

Singh also extended his best wishes to the contingent, urging them to uphold the district's pride and demonstrate sportsmanship in their representation at the mega event.

The Olympic and Paralympic events will take place in the districts of Chümukedima and Dimapur from February 12 to 17.
