Purple Fusion, after an absence of almost three years are back with a big win again at the Akademia awards for the 2nd time with their hit single "Grace" which is yet to be officially released on YouTube and other social media sites. An update issued on Oct. 16 informed that the band won the best single in the Folk/Singer-songwriter category for Oct. 2019. It may be reminded that their first Album 'Folk Reminiscence'  won the best Album in the same category in 2014. Grace, which is a fusion of Pop, funk, raggae and traditional Lotha folk "Voro jü rhe, Ojü rhe" was recorded at JAM studio Diphupar and mixed and mastered at "Element  Indie Records" Notun basti in Dimapur by Kevi Pucho. Currently the band is working on the music video which they plan to release as soon as the project is completed. The band credits God Almighty for the success and honour they have been bestowed. Also, in the update the band clarified that in appendix 8 of 'Folk Reminiscence' Captain Butler should be read as Williamson. (EMN)
