DIMAPUR — Nagaland won two more medals at the 37th National Games of India underway in Goa.

Representing the state in boxing, Preeti clinched a silver medal in the Women's 57-60 Light Weight category, while Sanju bagged a bronze in the Women's 63-66 Welter Weight category.

Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio congratulated the two boxers on Wednesday for their podium finishes.

They'd qualified through the Senior Nationals. Congratulations to the Coaches, support staff & Nagaland Boxing Assoc.,” he wrote in a post on X (sic).
