DIMAPUR — In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha election, a medical board has been formed to examine polling personnel for exemption from election duty, with EAC Wokha Luchui Fithu as chairman.
It also includes Dr. Chumdemo Kikon, Dr. Wobemo, Dr. Krunichuno Rino and Dr. Pyantsuthung as members, according to a DIPR report.
The medical board for exemption will convene on March 28 starting at 10 am at Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital in Wokha.
There will be only one session of the medical board, hence, applicants have been instructed to personally attend before the board for exemption on the specified date. Following this, no exemptions on medical grounds will be considered.
