OnePlus, a subsidiary of Chinese smartphone brand Oppo, launched two new android smartphones in India, OnePlus 11 5G and OnePlus 11R 5G. During the company’s launch event, the company revealed its latest smartphones feature impressive flagship specifications including AMOLED panels, 100W fast charging and Snapdragon 8 Gen SoCs.
The OnePlus 11 5G is the premium model between the two newly launched OnePlus smartphones. The device sports a 6.7" QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3216x1440 resolution. The display also features HDR10+, Dolby Vision, up to 1300nits peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The OnePlus 11 5G is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The chipset is based on the 4nm architecture paired with Adreno 740 GPU, which delivers top-of-the-line performance and battery efficiency.
In the camera department, the OnePlus 11 5G features a triple-camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera along with a 48MP ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX581 sensor and a 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW 2x telephoto lens. There is a 16MP snapper on the front of the device for selfie duties.

The device packs a big 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. It also comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7-ready, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP54 rating, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Android 13-based OxygenOS out-of-the-box. Surprisingly, OnePlus decided to bring back the fan-favourite alert slider to the OnePlus 11 series this time around.
The OnePlus 11R is the more affordable model from the OnePlus 11 series but offers decent specifications. For starters, the device is powered by the older Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with Adreno GPU. However, the SoC is no slouch when it comes to day-to-day tasks and gaming performance.
The OnePlus 11R 5G features a 6.7" AMOLED panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate with 2772x1240 resolution. In terms of optics, the device comes with a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. There is also a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

Similar to its sibling, the OnePlus 11R 5G packs a massive 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Connectivity options onboard include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The device supports up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB internal storage. It runs OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13 out-of-the-box and the company has promised 4 years of software updates and 5 years of security updates.
Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and the aforementioned alert slider.
The OnePlus 11 5G starts at INR 56,999 for the 8GB/128GB UFS 3.1 model and the 16GB/256GB with the faster UFS 4.0 variant is priced at INR 61,999. The device will be available in two colour options: Titan Black and Eternal Green.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 11R 5G starts at INR 39,999 for the 8GB/128GB version and the 16GB/256GB variant is priced at INR 44,999. The device comes in two colour options: Sonic Black and Galactic Silver.
Both devices will be available for purchase on the company website, Amazon and select retail stores. Pre-orders for the OnePlus 11 5G start on February 14 and pre-orders for OnePlus 11R 5G start on February 21.
