One arrested in Dimapur student murder case

DIMAPUR — Dimapur Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of Noghuvi K Sumi, a theology student whose body was found on November 3.

In a press release on Tuesday, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Dimapur Police and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) informed that the arrest was made on November 8. The arrested individual has been identified as 37-year-old Nanaw Meitram, a resident of Saiton Village, Bishnupur, Manipur.

Investigations into the case, registered at the East Police Station, are ongoing.
