NSCN/GPRN warns against fraudsters abusing its name

DIMAPUR — The NSCN/GPRN K (Niki) has warned against some individuals fraudulently seeking financial assistance from the public in Kohima district in the name of the NSCN/GPRN.

In a press release, it said that it has come to the knowledge of the Ministry of Chaplee that some individuals, without any authorisation have been interfering in the financial related matters of the NSCN/GPRN and seeking financial assistance from various sections of society in the name of the NSCN/GPRN in Kohima district.

“In this regard, the Ministry of Chaplee urges all concerned within Kohima district to be cautious of such unscrupulous individuals and not to entertain any individual approaching them with financial related matters without confirming or authenticating the correspondence from the concerned ministry through phone number 8132014972,” read the release.

Further, the NSCN/GPRN warned that it shall not tolerate such activities and shall initiate severe action against those involved as per the Yazahbo.
