KOHIMA — The secretary general of Naga People’s Movement for Human Right (NPMHR), Neingulo Krome, has urged the Naga people to live in peaceful co-existence with their neighbours.
Krome stated this during the 65th general session of Zuketsa Students' Union (ZSU) held at ZAPO ground in Zuketsa town on January 6 on the theme “Breakthrough to excellence.” Krome, who was the guest speaker of the event, spoke about the unique historical right of the Nagas. He added that the aspiration of the Nagas was to live in peaceful co-existence with neighbours.
An update from the union stated that the session witnessed attendance of more than 400 students from Leshemi Students' Union, Lasumi Students' Union, Zapami Students' Union and Lewoza Students' Union.
Also speaking on the occasion, Weku Zhiemi, Under Secretary to Government of Nagaland, urged the students to believe in themselves and work consistently in their pursuit to achieve success.
Pfhulo Sara, education secretary of Chakhesang Students' Union (CSU), shared greetings, while Wepre W Wetsah delivered the presidential address.
The programme was chaired by Nyitso Therie.
