Nagaland Taekwondo Association conducts black belt dan examination

Kohima, Oct. 16 (EMN):
The Nagaland Taekwondo Association (NTA) in collaboration with Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) conducted a month- long intensive taekwondo coaching at IG Stadium, Kohima, for the upcoming 2nd North East Olympic Games.

Following the coaching, a black belt dan examination was conducted at IG Stadium where a total of 62 players successfully appeared the test on October 15.

The coaching and belt examination was conducted by Kukkiwon Grand Master Lee Jeong Hee who is the Korean government’s dispatch to India for taekwondo and former national taekwondo team coach for India.

The selected players will continue their coaching at the same venue in Kohima till their departure for the North East Olympic Games which is scheduled to be held from November 10 to the 16th at Shillong in Meghalaya.
