Kohima, Aug. 27 (EMN): The children of Kinder Heritage Pre-School undertook a cleanliness drive at New Market Colony in Kohima on August 26 on the theme "Never too small to make a difference."

After cleaning the school premises, the toddlers numbering around 20 were seen picking up candy wrappers and other litters on the road nearby along the locality under watchful eye of the teachers.

"The primary objective of the social work was to foster and stimulate a sense of personal hygiene and cleanliness of the surroundings at a tender age as per the theme," said the school administrator, Kehoukhrienuo Kire.

She informed that such exercise was part of the school's co-curricular activity whereby on bimonthly basis under varied themes, they organises different activities.

The manner in which the students participated in the cleanliness activity was received with positive response from the residents.
