Nagaland: Power supply to Mon, Longleng district and Tuli sub-division disrupted

Dimapur, Sep. 22 (EMN): As a result of heavy storm and lightning, followed by uprooting and falling of large trees on the transmission line, the 66kV Mokokchung-Tuli-Naganimora-Tizit-Mon S/C transmission line has been damaged between Mokokchung-Tuli on September 21 around 00:51 am. This has resulted in total disruption of power supply to Mon and Longleng districts and Tuli sub-division, an update informed.

Despite the inclement weather and difficult terrain conditions, the department is making all effort to restore the said transmission line at the earliest, it read. ‘The department conveys its deepest regret especially to the student community and requests all concerned to bear with the inconvenience caused,’ it added.
