DIMAPUR — Governor of Nagaland La. Ganesan, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Deputy CM Y Patton have extended greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of Ramzan.
In a message, the governor expressed hope that it would be a festival of reflection and renewed hope, and a time filled with the warmth of family, the sweetness of prayer, and the richness of community.
“Let the spirit of Ramzan inspire us to be better, kinder, and more compassionate towards one another,” he added.
Taking to X, Rio greeted the Muslim community on the occasion of Id Ul Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. “Wishing you blessings of answered prayers and may your household be happy and blessed,” he wrote.
Patton also conveyed festive greetings on behalf of the state BJP legislators and expressed hope that the festival is celebrated in unity and sense of brotherhood.
