Students and faculty after a workshop on career choice at Model Christian College in Kohima on Saturday.

DIMAPUR — A workshop on office record management was conducted for non-teaching staff of Model Christian College, Kohima, on Saturday. The resource persons were Vemetha Huzhu, accountant, and Neilhite Kapfo, system administrator, from Kohima Science College (Autonomous).

Also, according to a press release, students participated in a one-day workshop on career choice comprising three sessions.

Mahendra Educational Private Limited, Kohima, conducted the first session in which it offered students advice, tactics, time-management strategies, and resources to improve their chances of success in the state and civil services.

In the second session, Abijeet Bharadwaj, manager, Kaziranga University, Jorhat, enlightened the students about diverse career pathways. In the third session, Young Indians fostered entrepreneurial spirit among students through interactions with seasoned entrepreneurs.

Furthermore, the faculty attended a one-day workshop on research methodology organised by the Research Development Cell in collaboration with the internal quality assurance cell (IQAC).

The workshop featured Dr. Boyillapalli Venkata Rao, associate professor in the department of Education at Nagaland University, Kohima campus, as the resource person. It was divided into two sessions: Research Methodology and Insights on Citations.
