MGM-College-initiates-charity-drive

DIMAPUR — In a heart-warming display of community spirit, the Students’ Union of MGM College organised a charity drive on Thursday and donated the proceeds to Government Middle School (GMS), Sewak Road, at Midland, Dimapur.

An update from the college stated that the philanthropic endeavour was conducted under the stewardship of its principal, Rev. Fr. Dr. Ps Varghese. Speaking on behalf of the union, the principal expressed his admiration for the students’ initiative, highlighting the importance of collective action in addressing societal needs.

He further commended the students for their compassion and altruism, emphasising the significance of extending support to educational institutions in need.

It mentioned that the donation drive organised by the MGM College Students’ Union served as a testament to the power of unity and solidarity in effecting meaningful change.
