DIMAPUR — The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has informed all business establishments within KMC jurisdiction that intensive trade licence inspection will be conducted from May 6 onwards.
In a circular, administrator of KMC, T Lanusenla said that defaulters will be imposed INR 2000 as penalty along with other normal late fines as applicable.
Requesting all concerned to cooperate and coordinate with the KMC officials, the administrator also informed that in order to avoid impersonation of KMC officials by unscrupulous individuals, the shopkeepers and business establishments must insist on KMC identity card and also all fines to be paid only through receipt.
