Kenei Ritse crowned Miss Northeast 2023

KOHIMA — Miss Phek 2022, Kenei Ritse, was crowned Miss Northeast 2023 during a glamorous event held in Sikkim on Sunday.

Attended by the Chief Minister of Sikkim and other dignitaries, the pageant which took place at Gangtok, witnessed contestants from the 8 northeastern states.

This was the second edition of the event, hosted by the state of Sikkim.

Ritse, who is also Miss Nagaland 1st runner-up 2022, hails from Pfütsero village in Phek district. She was represented by the Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN), the official organisation of Miss Nagaland that has been promoting youth empowerment.

Anamika Borah, representing Miss Assam organisation, was crowned as Miss Northeast 1st runner-up, and Jennifer Lalrenzuali secured the title of Miss Northeast 2nd runner-up.

Meanwhile, the reigning Miss Nagaland, Hikali Achumi, won the subtitle of Miss Beautiful Smile.

The BASN has also congratulated the winners and extended their best wishes for their future endeavors.
