ITA lift overall inter-school Taekwondo champions’ trophy

DIMAPUR — Immanuel Taekwondo Academy (ITA) emerged overall champions of the 7th Faith in Action Inter-school Taekwondo Championship 2023, held at Grace Academy, GC Paira Colony, Burma Camp, on November 11.

The ITA players won 16 gold, 12 silver and five bronze medals.

Westside School secured first runner- up by winning 14 gold, 14 silver and 11 bronze medals, while Little Star Hr. Sec. School with 12 gold, five silver and 13 bronze medals were placed second runner-up. The best active team trophy was clinched by St. Mary’s Montessori Hr. Sec. School, an update stated.

The participants from various schools and academies in the Kyorugi (sparring) competition, who taking home the titles of ‘best fighter’ in both the male and female categories are as follows:
