DIMAPUR — Secretary to the government of Nagaland and Electoral Roll Observer for Tuensang, Noklak and Shamator districts, Mohammed Ali Shihab A, chaired a comprehensive meeting at the DC Conference Hall in Shamator on Thursday to review the progress of the ongoing special summary revision of electoral roll in the district.

He was joined by Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO), supervisors, booth-level officers (BLOs), representatives of different political parties and booth-level agents (BLAs) at the meeting, said an update from DIPR.

The officials also visited Polling Station No. 7 (Shamator HQ ‘A’) and PS No. 8 (Shamator HQ ‘B’) under the 58 Shamator-Chessore Assembly Constituency.

The electoral roll observer had visited Tuensang and Noklak districts earlier this week.
