DIMAPUR — Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton, who is also the leader of BJP Legislature Party in the state, held separate meetings—one with the newly elected team of BJP Mahila Morcha, Nagaland, and the other with the party workers from Yikhum village—in Kohima on December 2.
According to a press release, at the meetings, issues concerning the party and its strengthening were discussed, and Patton lauded the enthusiasm of the women leaders to strengthen the foundation of the party in the state.
He expressed confidence that the party will forge stronger ties with women voters in the state under their leadership and congratulated the new BJP mahila team led by its president, Shanbeni Yanthan.
Patton further appreciated the commitment of the party karyakartas for their commitment to the party and strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level, as per the release.
