Deputy CM inaugurates hotel in Dimapur

DIMAPUR — Deputy Chief Minister, TR Zeliang, on Sunday inaugurated a hotel called ‘Shulem Boutique Hotel’ located at Zeliangrongram Colony.

Speaking on the occasion, Zeliang has termed managing a hotel ‘challenging’ as the task is unpredictable unlike other business ventures. He was of the opinion that venturing into hotel business would not only open avenues for the owners but also create employment opportunities for the unemployed youth.

Zelaing further stated that opening of ‘Shulem Boutique Hotel’ would be blessings for all the dwellers of the area.

In his welcome speech, the chairman of 'Shulem Boutique Hotel,' Kelei Zeliang mentioned that the hotel structure was built using steel instead of traditional brick walls with autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) blocks.

The chairman mentioned that the construction of the building was designed to withstand earthquakes up to zone 5. He further informed that the hotel has a total of 17 rooms including four suites.

The hotel general manager, Nitokali Awomi, shared about the hotel, while the vote of thanks was delivered by the managing director of the hotel, Hailungning Zeliang.
