CVYS sports meet:  Team Tsiekharu emerge overall champions

DIMAPUR — The 43rd sports meet of Chümoukedima Village Youth Society (CVYS) on the theme ‘Social networking through sports’ culminated on Friday at Chümoukedima village local ground, with chairman of SMC, Chümoukedima village, Alezo Thakro, as the special guest in the closing ceremony.

Team Tsiekharu, which lifted the football title, were adjudged the overall champions, Team Tekhuba took the runner-up title, an update stated.

In the men' volleyball, Team Tsiesepru emerged champions by defeating  Team Tsiekharu in the finals and in the women's volleyball, Team Tekhuba lifted the title by defeating Team Tsiekharu.

The prize distribution ceremony was hosted by Kevisenuo Tsükru.
