Chandmari Gorkha Union celebrates ‘Milan Diwas’

DIMAPUR — The Chandmari Gorkha Union (CGU) celebrated ‘Milan Diwas’ on November 5 at the GPPK multi-utility hall, an event dedicated to celebrating the unity of Gorkhas from Chandmari, whether residing in Kohima or around the world, through music and dance.

According to a press release, the event also provided a platform for artists to demonstrate their skills and talents.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Budhi Lama, a member of CGU's action committee, enlightened the audience on the significance of the day, emphasising the importance of unity within the community, and adding that it was a day to greet and meet one another.

The event was attended by about 400 people.
