DIMAPUR — The Confederation of All Nagaland State Service Employees Association (CANSSEA) Dimapur Unit held its annual general meeting on February 23 at the Directorate of Land Resources and Survey in Dimapur.
In his brief address, Anungba Sanglir, the newly elected president, sought support from the central unit and emphasised the need to reform not only Dimapur but also Chümoukedima and Nuiland, urging them to come together as one for a brighter future of the unit and to work for the welfare of the employees, stated a DIPR report.
The newly elected members of CANSSEA Dimapur Unit are as follows: Anungba Sanglir, joint director of Food and Civil Supplies, serves as president; Bokaro Sema, range officer in the Forest department, was appointed as vice president; Lolano Patton, district public relations officer at the department of Information and Public Relations, assumed the role of general secretary; Thomas Wilson, assistant commissioner of taxes, was elected as joint secretary; and Tovito Sema, superintendent at the department of Geology and Mining, was elected treasurer.
