Believers called to be witness of Jesus

KOHIMA — The vice president of Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC), Rev. Dr. Vevozo Khamo, has urged the believers to be witnesses to Jesus Christ and bring the lost souls by spreading the gospel to all nations.

Rev. Khamo stated this in his message on the second day of the Kohima Bible College golden jubilee celebration held at Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School (RGHSS) ground in Kohima on Wednesday. Dwelling on the significance of the jubilee, Rev. Khamo challenged the believers to be witnesses to Christ and spread the gospel to the nations.

He also called upon the KBC students to be committed to the mission of the Lord and save the lost souls. He also told the congregation to realise their calling for the mission in different forms, irrespective of their profession in different fields.

Rev. Khamo, who was a former graduate of KBC, recounted his early days at the college and his association with the late Principal Rev. Neihulie Angami.

Earlier, jubilee greetings were delivered by Haiwalo Apon, executive secretary of Council of Rengma Baptist Church (CRBC).

The programme was led by Surjay B Sapkota, former graduate, while the service started with praise and worship led by Koinonia Baptist Church, and songs were presented by Rokovituo Chücha, Koinonia Baptist Church choir, and Konyak Baptist Church Kohima choir.

It was informed that Rev. Dr. Putsato Naleo, founder president of Life Transforming Ministries, would be the speaker on November 23 evening service at 4 pm, while the programme would be led by Ayhulo Kemp, associate pastor of Rengma Baptist Church, Kohima.
