Annual sports meet of Don Bosco School kicked off

KOHIMA — Students of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School participated in a cross-country race organised to inaugurate the school's annual sports meet on March 16 in Kohima.

The route stretched from the secretariat area to the school's campus, with nearly 1,000 students participating in the event.

Brig. Ved Beniwal, Deputy Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North), flagged off the race and, speaking on the occasion, emphasised the positive influence of sports in bringing out the best in students while also highlighting the value of such activities in shaping a successful future.

Meanwhile, the school's principal, Rev. Fr. TP James, stated that the race is an important part of their calendar activities.
