ADC Pungro informs on vehicular restriction

DIMAPUR — To expedite the ongoing road widening and upgrading project on 02 (Zero Two) Road before the monsoon season, additional deputy commissioner of Pungro, Vekusheyi Rhakho, has issued an order imposing vehicular restrictions on the road.

The restrictions will be effective from February 1 to 10, between 10 am and 4 pm, according to a DIPR report.

During the specified period, contractors will be conducting earth-cutting work between the 9 km camp and the New Vongti junction. Commuters and commercial vehicles using this route have been informed to take note of the restriction hours to avoid inconvenience.

Light vehicles, including passenger vehicles like TATA Sumo, have been advised to use the alternative route via Tetheze (Tetheze Road) during the period.
