Dimapur, May 25 (EMN):
Newly elected president of Western Sumi Hoho (WSH), Dr. Kakheto Zhimomi, has urged all the village chiefs, village councils, colony councils, tribal hoho leaders and churches within its jurisdiction to unite and work together to bring about positive social change.

Dr. Kakheto Zhimomi stated this at its first executive council meeting held on May 24 after taking over the office which was attended by newly elected office bearers, area representatives and council members.

Dr. Kakheto Zhimomi stated that the present condition of the Sumi community needed to be put in order, which according to him, is in complete mess.

“We all must collaborate and join hands together and put our own house first in order to bring a change. We need a paradigm shift in our mindset and transform the current system of our community,” WSH media cell state quoting Dr. Kakheto Zhimomi.

He stressed that the community should set things in the right perspective and recommit themselves by realising that they are all stakeholders for the coming generations. He further urged support towards another with oneness to achieve their objective.
