Women’s One Day Trophy: Nagaland beat Arunachal by eight wickets

Dimapur, Feb. 19 (EMN): An update from the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) informed that Nagaland beat Arunachal Pradesh by eight wickets at the Women’s Senior One Day Trophy match at CAP ground-2 in Puducherry on Wed. Feb. 19.

Arunachal Pradesh after winning the toss, elected to bat first and were bowled out for just 121 runs in 49.5 overs.

Nabam and B Ritu scored 33 and 32 runs respectively.

Pankul took three wickets for Nagaland.

In reply, Nagaland scored 125 losing two wickets in 23.1 overs.

Vaincy was not on 64 runs while Nazma scored 41 runs.

Jyoti and Mari took one wicket apiece for Arunachal Pradesh.

Result: Nagaland win by eight wickets

In another update from the NCA, Nagaland beat Meghalaya by 90 runs in the Women’s U-19 One Day Trophy match at Kaddapa in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.
