Wokha students apprehend two on shoplifting, drugs charge

Wokha, February 17 (EMN): In connection with alleged shoplifting, two persons were apprehended by members of the Wokha Circle Students’ Union (WCSU) on February 17, Monday, at the Wokha town municipal complex.
According to reports the two were assaulting a shop owner and lifted one pair of slippers. The members of the union intervened; they were also caught in possession of 144 capsules of the banned Spasmo Proxyvon tablets.
The two accused were identified as a Kitoku Sema, and one Vikaho, both hailing from Philimi village.
The members of the union filed an FIR and handed both the persons to the police station of Wokha for further necessary action.
The union has stated through its president, C Longshithung Lotha, that the organisation will remain vigilant in its jurisdiction to prevent any untoward incident that may hinder peaceful environment for citizens.
