Dimapur, March 20(EMN): One of the challenging periods in our academic life is after appearing class 12 finals, as we need to appear for different entrance examinations for admissions into different courses or institutes. Most of the leading institutes select students based on entrance exams conducted by a particular institute or jointly by different institutes. In today’s edition, we are publishing information related to few such entrance tests, which are going to be held soon.
NATA: National Aptitude Test in Architecture, 2020 (NATA- 2020) for admission to five-year B.Arch. degree course in various recognised institutions across India for the academic session 2020-2021 will be conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) all over the country on April 19. CoA fixes norms and standards for architectural institutions and provides a single window system at national level for appearing in aptitude test and to facilitate students to take up B.Arch degree course. The last date to apply for NATA- 2020 online is March 16. The first NATA entrance examination will be held on April 19 and the second examination will be held on May 31.
Hotel Management: National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination 2020 (NCHM JEE- 2020) is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) starting this year. NCHM JEE is conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for admission to B.Sc. course in hospitality and hotel administration across the country. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI), has established the NTA as an independent autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organisation under the Society Registration Act 1860 for conducting efficient, transparent and international standard tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admissions to premier higher education institutions. The entranced exam will be held on April 25 and the last date for filling the form is March 20.
AIFD: The entrance examination (CBT) for admission to under graduate B.Sc in FAD at the Army Institute of Fashion and Design (AIFD), Bangalore will be held on May 9, 2020 between 1430 to 1730 hrs at notified examination centres. Aspirants may apply before March 31.
CLAT: The Consortium of National Law Universities conducts Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by various national law universities in the country. Those interested in taking up law can register for CLAT before March 31. The entrance test is scheduled for May 10.
JNUEE: Entrance examination for admission to various courses — Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral degrees, as well as diploma courses — at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will be held on May 11, 12, 13 and the 14th via computer-based test (CBT) and students can apply for the same before March 31.

Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Programme: The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) invites applications for Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Programme 2020-21 from full-time senior secondary school teachers in India. The Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) programme is a six-week non-degree, non-credit academic programme at a US university. So, the selected candidates will do the programme in the United States. Last date for application is March 16.
