Dimapur, July 13 (EMN): Tuensang District Development and Planning Board (DPDB) expressed concern over the inconvenience caused to the commuters due to digging on the road side by telecommunication companies and directed the concerned department to update the problems to the district administration.

The issue was taken up for discussion during its monthly meeting held in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on July 12 chaired by the ADC of Shamator, T Lankonsen Tsanglao.

The members also discussed on the proposal for extension of local ground and construction of rostrum at Chessore and forwarded the same to government for approval. The work distribution for the Independence Day 2019 was also discussed.

Medical department highlighted on the Rota virus vaccine for which the campaign would start soon. DPO DIO (RCH&UIP), Tuensang, requested all the members to sensitise the people.

The traffic and parking problems within the town causing public safety situations raised by the senior citizens was also discussed and decided to convene a meeting inclusive of district administration, Officer-in-charge of traffic and police department, Tuensang.
