Tsungkam mini-Hornbill festivities continue
Dimapur, Jan. 16 (EMN): The second day of the Tsungkam mini-Hornbill Festival began with a marathon from Thyiang village to Mundün Heritage village. The marathon was flagged off by Bharat Laxman Markod, police superintendent of Tuensang. Hundreds of runners, both old and young, took part in the event, a press release from the festival organisers’ media cell on January 16 informed.
In the second session of the programme, T Lankonsen Tsanglao, additional deputy commissioner of Shamator, was the host while Neiba Kronu, minister for Planning & Co-Ordination & Land Revenue was the special guest of the event, the updates stated.
The third session had various community sporting activities such as Tug of War, and a crossbow competition, the updates stated.
