Tizit students demand construction of school building

Dimapur, Aug. 16 (EMN): The Tizit Area Students’ Union appealed to the department of School Education and submitted a memorandum to its advisor, KT Sukhalu, for the construction of higher secondary school building.

According to a DIPR report, the demand was made when the advisor conducted a visit at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) at  Tizit on Aug. 15.

Sukhalu was accompanied by the additional director and deputy director of School Education and the sub-divisional education officer of  Tizit.

The Tizit Area Students’ Union appraised the advisor about the condition of the lone GHSS in Tizit which was constructed in 1981. It was upgraded to higher secondary in 2011.

Sukhalu assured to look into the matter and do the required work at the earliest.

He lauded the school for the good results that it has produced and further encouraged them to do better, the DIPR informed.
