Dimapur, May 24 (EMN): Royal Club, Kohima, in collaboration with the Department of School Education, Government of Nagaland, will be organising the 1st Kohima District Inter-School Football Tournament 2017 at Kohima from June 23 to July 13.
The tournament shall be open to all Government and Private High Schools and Higher Secondary Schools in Kohima district. However, only bona-fide regular students duly supported by photo copy of Cumulative Record and certified by the Head of the institution will be eligible to participate.
In addition to a match allowance of Rs 1000/- only per match per team, prize money of Rs 70,000/- only for the champion team, Rs 50,000/- only for the runner up team and Rs 20,000/- only for each of the losing semi-finalist, shall be awarded.
Interested schools may collect entry forms from the following business establishments in the town:
1. Havells Centre, High School Junction.
2. United Traders, Main Town.
3. Ura Hotel, adjacent to Red Cross Building, Near Indoor Stadium.
Duly filled entry form with the list of players, Coach and Manager certified by the Head of the institution may be submitted to the organisers through the establishment from where the Entry forms are collected.
The last date for receiving the entry is June 10. No entry shall be entertained after 4:00 p.m. on the scheduled date.
No entry fee is required, but each participating team shall be required to submit a school flag measuring 3ft X 6ft along with their respective entry form.
