Dimapur, Feb. 13: Lok Sabha member from Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio met the National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval on Monday at Delhi.
According to the MP’s publicity team, Rio and Doval ‘discussed at length about the current situation with regard to the ULB elections, how it began and what it has escalated to.’ he impressed upon the centre to handle the present crisis with utmost care and not antagonise the Naga public, as the already fragile Indo-Naga peace talks could be affected, it was informed.
He also urged the centre to bring an early solution to the Naga political problem. Rio has been asked to stay back in Delhi for further discussions, it was also informed.
