Ranji Trophy: Mizoram trailing Nagaland by 235 runs

Dimapur, Jan. 27 (EMN): Mizoram are trailing Nagaland by 235 runs after day-one of the Ranji Trophy match at CCFC ground in Kolkata on Mon. Jan. 27.

Earlier, Nagaland after winning the toss, elected to bat first and was bundled out for 243 runs in 83 overs in the first innings informed Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA).

Sedezhalie remained not out on 105 runs with Hokaito, Imliwati, and Nagaho chipping in with 31, 27, and 25 runs respectively.

For Mizoram, G Lalbiakvela took five wickets while H M Ralte took two wickets.

In reply, Mizoram finished the day on 8 runs for no loss of wickets in 5 overs.

In another update from the NCA, Nagaland lost to Sikkim by 23 runs in the Women’s U-23 One Day Trophy (2019-20)

Sikkim were all out for 168 runs after electing to bat first at the Ravenshaw University Ground 2 in Cuttack on Mon. Jan. 27.

Rinki top scored with 90 runs.

Merensola, Ayantika, and Sariba took two wickets each for Nagaland.

In reply, Nagaland were bundled out for 145 runs 46.5 overs.

Ayantika and Tulika top scored with 29 and 24 runs.

Aruna took four wickets for Sikkim.
