Raj Bhavan celebrates pre-Christmas event

Kohima, Dec. 22 (EMN): An advent Christmas celebration programme was held at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Kohima on Sunday.

‘Christmas tidings’ were delivered by Kedo Peseyie, pastor at City Church Kohima.

The event was marked by music, songs and the enactment of ‘Christmas pageant’, performed by the City Church of Kohima; and a ‘United Male Voice’ performance.

Among the participants was the globally renowned musician, Dr. Benny Pasad, and wife Zanbeni.

The commissioner and secretary to the governor of Nagaland, T Mhabemo Yanthan also delivered an address.

Earlier, Governor RN Ravi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio lit the Christmas candles; and their wives cut the Christmas cake. The celebration programme was followed by dinner.
