Dimapur, June 17 (EMN): Queen Mary higher secondary school in Mokokchung has taken the top prize of an “inter-higher secondary school” essay competition conducted by the State Bank of India.
The competition was held at on June 15 at Mayangnokcha govt. higher secondary school in Mokokchung.
The competition was stated to have been organized by the Mokokchung branch of the State Bank of India in commemoration of its golden jubilee celebrations (1969-2019).
The government’s publicity agency, the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR), issued updates about the event in its Monday bulletin.
The essay was on the topic “impact and scope of banking.” 16 students from different schools participated in the competition, the IPR stated.
Opanglemla Kichu from Queen Mary higher secondary school was declared the winner of the competition, the IPR reported.
N Wonchilo Odyuo from Mayangnokcha govt. higher secondary school took the second prize while Cheyongdangla Imchen from Imsutemjen higher secondary school bagged the third prize, in that order, the updates added.
