With an aim to penetrate all sections of people living in the town, Phek Town Youth Society (PTYS) had visited all the schools in Phek town and sensitized students on its visions on Clean – Green operation.
Responding to endeavour of PTYS officials to keep the town clean and green, all the students and teachers have promised to dedicate, devout and render full co-operation during the campaign and to keep the town clean, green and beautiful and help PTYS in fulfilling its mission. They promised themselves through verbal and signatures in the banners.
Altogether 13 schools were sensitized. PTYS has extended gratitude to all the schools in Phek town for co-operation. PTYS stated that subsequently the town would be cleaned up and dispose off all dirt in the town, nullahs, streams and further asked the public to do co-operate in making the town a model town.
PTYS also campaigned through stickers on April 20, where atleast 200 vehicles were given car stickers. Vehicle owners, whose vehicles have not obtained the stickers, are asked to co-operate with PTYS.
