Project director of DRDA Wokha retires after 35 yrs of service

Wokha, Nov. 30 (EMN): Wokha district rural development department bade farewell to project director of DRDA Wokha Thungdeno Mozhui at Hammock Resort Wokha on Saturday. She retired after 35 years of service as a government servant.
Addressing the audience on her last official address as a government servant, Mozhui said she worked humbly with any bias and that she had no issue with any religion or culture and attached to all communities as she was born and raised in a mixed culture.

Other than facing some problem while shifting home with children after every transfer and work-related issues, she said, all was well. She thanked her husband Dr. Robin Lotha, joint director department of Health and Family Welfare Kohima, stating that ‘behind every successful woman there is a strong man’. She also assured to continue to work for the rural community.

Mozhui was born in Mokokchung but raised up in Kohima. She joined the department of rural development as an assistant project officer on November 29 in 1984.

Several line department officials from the block; Wokha district village chairman association Myithungo Odyuo; Nchumthung Ngullie, DRDA Wokha; and Pichamo WDVDBA spoke at the farewell programme chaired by Mathew Yhome APC (MNREGA), DRDA Wokha.
