Leaders and organisations mourn the demise of Khotuoü Liezietsu, wife of former chief minister Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu.

DIMAPUR — Rajya Sabha MP S Phangnon Konyak, the Ura Academy, NPF Minority Wing and Western Chakhesang Hoho have condoled the demise of Khotuoü Liezietsu, wife of former chief minister Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu.
In her condolence message, Konyak described Khotuoü as a motherly figure to countless individuals and a steadfast pillar of strength beside Dr. Shürhozelie throughout his life and public service.
Konyak offered prayers for the eternal rest of the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family during this difficult time of grief.
The Ura Academy stated that Khotuoü was not only a devoted life partner and pillar of strength to Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, but also a motherly figure and a valued member of the Ura Academy Chatha (Advisory Board).

The academy said her unwavering support, humility, wisdom, and dedication towards the growth and welfare of the institution would always be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.
Conveying condolences to Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and the bereaved family members, the academy prayed that Almighty God grant them comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time of grief, and that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
The Naga People's Front (NPF) Minority Wing, in its condolence message, termed Khotuoü’s demise as a great loss not only to the Liezietsu family but also to all those who knew and respected her for her grace, strength, and unwavering support throughout the years of public service rendered by Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and their children.
The wing conveyed its condolences to Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and the bereaved family.
In another message, the Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) stated that the passing of a beloved wife and mother, whose love, warmth, strength, and unwavering presence formed the pillar of the family and home, was “deeply painful and irreplaceable.”
“Mrs. Khotuo-ii Liezietsu will be remembered with deep respect and affection for her kindness, grace, strength, and the many lives she touched through her warmth and compassion. Her life and legacy shall continue to remain a source of inspiration and cherished memories to all who knew her,” the message read.
Meanwhile, former Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Thenucho Tunyi and the NPF Central Women Wing have extended condolences on the demise of Khotuoü Liezietsu.
