Kawimaningsi from Nagaland crowned Orange Queen 2019

Imphal, Dec 19 (EMN):
Twenty-year old Kawimaningsi from Nagaland was crowned the Orange Queen 2019 at a beauty pageant that was held as part of the three-day Orange Festival in Tamenglong district headquarter, about 150 km west of Imphal on Wednesday.

Kawimaningsi also bagged the Miss Ramp walk title and went home richer with a cash prize of INR 1.5 lakh along with a citation.

25-year old Aluliu Daimei of Chingmeirong Kabuikhul in Imphal and 19-year old Chun Ezar Pamei of Tamenglong were adjudged the first runner-up and second runner-up, in that order.
Pamei also bagged the Miss Photogenic subtitle.

The state-level Orange festival was organised by the Tamenglong district administration in an effort to promote orange cultivation in the state particularly in Tamenglong district.

Altogether 25 contestants belonging to different communities living in the state participated.

The winners of the sub-title were Nivedita Kongbrailatpam (Miss Congeniality), Elizabeth J Hmat (Miss Vivacious), Pretty Inkah (Miss Talented), Dolina Thokchom (Miss Body beautiful), and Riamei Chun Joycee (Miss Glamorous Look).
