Dimapur, Oct. 15 (EMN): In exercise of the power conferred by Article V Clause 3 of the party constitution and in pursuance to the decision of the CEC dated August 7, president of Naga People’s Front (NPF), Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu has summoned the party’s general convention on November 22 at Capital Convention Centre, Kohima, from 11 am onwards.
An update from the party secretary general, KG Kenye stated that the said CEC meeting was convened by the president in conformity with Article IV section (3) clause (c), sub-clause (i) of the NPF constitution.
The agenda to be tabled in the general convention included discussion on various issues pertaining to the party, nomination/ election of a new team of office bearers of the NPF for the tenure 2020-2024.
KG Kenye further stated that only an active members of the party would be allowed to attend the general convention.
