Dimapur, Jan. 2 (EMN): Alleging that Nagas have suffered in recent years basing on religion, tribalism, factions, social organisations, associations, and unions, Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has wished for a fulfilling year ahead with the advent of a new year.
Conveying New Year greetings, NPCC president K Therie wished Nagas to commit themselves to practice spiritual values of Christian-ship in all their activities and receive 365 days of opportunities in 2019.

He regretted that divisions have blinded the society making them lose sight of a common goal, objective and the sense of oneness. He remarked that “We have turned to become one of the most individualist society members, perhaps in the world.” He stated that law and order have been completely side-lined, adding spiritual values are not seen practiced in life especially in dealings in governance.

To avail the year of opportunities ahead both in politics and economy in the nation and state, Therie has urged the people to decide on achieving common political objective through clean governance.
“Together only we can turn the table in favour of the common people,” Therie added. He further wished all a prosperous Happy New year.
