Dimapur, Sep. 23 (EMN): Host Manipur Olympic Association has communicated the maximum number of athletes, team officials, and technical officials invited to the 1st North East Olympic Games 2018 in Imphal. This was stated in an update from secretary general Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA).
- Archery: Indian round men and women (4 each), recurve men and women (4 each), compound men and women (4 each) and 2 team officials.
- Athletics: 16 men and women with 3 team officials and 1 technical official
(100m, 400m, 1500m, 50000m, 10000m, 4X100 relay, 4X400 relay, long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin)
- Badminton: 4 men and women with 2 team officials.
- Boxing: 8 men and women in 46, 49, 52, 56, 60, 64, 69, and 75kgs with 2 team officials and 3 technical officials.
- Football: 18 men and women with 4 team officials.
- Judo: 5 men in 56, 60, 66, 75, and 81kgs, 5 women in 48, 52, 57, 63, and 70kgs with 2 team officials and 1 technical official.
- Karate Do: 5 men in 55, 60, 67, and +67kgs with 1 individual kata and 5 women in 50, 55, 61, and +61kgs with 1 individual kata and 2 team officials and 1 technical official.
- Shooting: 6 men and women in 10 meter air rifle (ISSF) and 10 meter air pistol (ISSF) with 2 team officials.
- Table Tennis: 4 Men, 4 Women, (Single, Double, Mix Doubles), 2 Team Officials.
- Taekwondo: 6 men in below 54, 58, 63, 68, and 74kgs above; 6 momen in below 46, 46, 49, 53, 57, and 62kgs above with 2 team officials and 1 technical official.
- Weight lifting: 7 men in 55, 61, 67, 73, 81, 96, and 102kgs with women in 45kgs, 49, 55, 59, 64, 71, 76kgs, 2 team Officials,
- Wushu: 7 men in 48, 52, 56, 60, 65, 70, and 75kgs with 5 women in 48, 52, 56, 60, and 65kg with 2 team officials and 1 technical official.
All the above mentioned disciplines are informed to complete selection process and submit the list of the participants on or before Sep. 29 along with 2 nos. of recent passport size colour photos and xerox adhar card for accreditation and issue of ID. Form for entry of names and accreditation ID card shall be communicated online therefore the associations are informed to communicate their email ID to merenpaul@yahoo.co.in. It is further informed that each selected athletes present address along with address proof should be submitted to the secretary general NOA with advance soft copy in the same email ID.
