NIHESW hosts state-level resource persons’ workshop

Dimapur, June 24 (EMN): The Nagaland Institute of Health, Environment & Social Welfare (NIHESW) of Kohima on June 22 hosted a state state level resource persons’ workshop of the National Children Science Congress (NCSC) in the DIC Conference Hall in Kohima. Jayanta Kumar Sharma, member of the National Academy Committee of the NCSC was the resource person.
A press release received here on Sunday from the NCSC informed that the central theme of the NCSC for the year 2018-19 is “Science, Technology and Innovation for Clean, Green and Healthy Nation.”

The state coordinator of NCSC, Santu Thapa has infromed that children from all over the country will work and present projects under the mentioned theme at the district, state and national level congress. The NCSC is a programme of the NCSTC, DST, Govt. of India. Introduction to the NCSC was presented by State Academic Coordinator Dr. Pallav Changkakotti.

The inaugural programme was presided over by State Coordinator Santu Thapa while welcome address was delivered by Director NIHESW Dr. Vizovol Mekro and vote of thanks was proposed by General Secretary NIHESW Kezevitonou Pienyu.
