Dimapur, Feb. 4 (EMN): The general manager NF Railway, Sanjive Roy released the quarterly (January – March, 2020) issue of the safety bulletin “Anubhav” at Maligaon on February 3.
The Pr. Chief Safety Officer of NF Railway Manoj Kumar Agrawal along with other senior officials of the safety department were also present during the occasion stated the chief public relations officer of NFR in an update on Tuesday.
The main objective of the bulletin is to guide the staff related to running of trains in a very simple manner. Accidents that happened in recent past were meticulously analysed and explained on the basis of input received in the bulletin; so that field staff can take necessary steps to stop reoccurrence.
Roy while releasing the bulletin asked all officers and staffs to conduct vigorous and meticulous “Safety Checks” in the field and take immediate corrective action. Constant vigil can avert many unsafe situations that may arise during running of train. Manoj Kumar Agrawal, Pr. Chief Safety Officer asked all staff involved in train operation like loco pilots, station masters, guards, engineering, mechanical, signal and telecom to remain alert always; because only their alertness can ensure safe train operation.
The safety bulletin will be distributed amongst field officials so that they improve their knowledge on various matters pertaining to observance of safety parameters.
