Dimapur, Aug. 21 (EMN): The general manager of NF Railway (Construction), N K Prasad on Wednesday, August 21 administered the Sadbhavana pledge to staff and officers of headquarters of NF Railway (Construction) organisation at Maligaon on the occasion of the 75th birth anniversary of late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
The Sadvavana day pledge calls upon the people to work for emotional oneness and harmony of all the people of India regardless of caste, region, religion, language and to resolve all differences through dialogue and constitutional means without resorting to violence stated the senior public relations officer of NF Railway (Construction) in an update on Wednesday.
The idea behind observance of “Sadbhavana Diwas” is to eschew violence and to promote good will among the people. It it celebrated across the country every year.
Chief Administrative Officer-1, H S Yadav and M S Chouhan, Chief Administrative Officer-3 also took the pledge along with other staff and officers on the occasion.
